The aspiration of this project is to create visions of sustainable living environments. Design and development are centered around occupants’ health and wellbeing, as well as environmental and low, embodied carbon goals. The site is part of Wandsworth Council proposal, which has committed to building 1,000 new homes over the 5-7 years as part of their “Housing for All” program aiming to provide living units for local residents and workers. The illustrated proposal aims to create an inclusive, friendly and climate considerate residential complex, guided by sustainable and environmental principles taught. To achieve the final proposal, site and building studies, orientation and opening sizes, layout, materials, occupancy schedules and adaptive opportunities are at the centre of the process.
